Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry focuses on the spiritual formation of the students. The teachings of St. Angela Merici, foundress of the Ursuline order, the teachings of John Henry Cardinal Newman, namesake of Cardinal Newman High School, and the Ursuline philosophy of Serviam (I will serve) are the guideposts of Campus Ministry. The primary focus of Campus Ministry is to challenge and nourish the spiritual life of every student through:

  • Support of Campus Ministry on campus through the Campus Ministry Class and through the Campus Ministry ASB Officers.

  • Active participation in daily school prayer, in Eucharistic Liturgies (Masses), and in other prayer services.

  • Student service to the Broader Community and to the school community through the Community Based Service Learning Program.

  • Grade level retreats: Two single gender retreats in both Grade 9 and Grade 10, and a coed retreat in Grades 11 and 12.

  • Service of the Campus Ministry students to the school community.
