Education Loans
Families who wish to spread the cost of their tuition over a longer period of
time, and reduce the amount of their monthly payments, can apply online to
organizations which provide education loans for private high school tuition,
including:
www.prepgate.com (Ursuline High School is a pre-approved school with this organization)

Please contact our Finance Office pkingston@ursulinehs.org if you need specific information from the school to support your application for an education loan.
Tuition Assistance
The school offers Tuition Assistance in two forms:
Financial Aid: is awarded each year with no academic requirements.
Scholarships: a number of specific scholarships are
awarded each year, some on
academic or service merit only and some with financial
need criteria.
Please review the downloadable forms providing all Financial Aid and Scholarship details for the 2008-09 school year at: Scholarship and Financial Aid Applications
Late Applicants for the 2008-09 school year starting August 19, 2008
Financial Aid and Scholarship applications for the 2008-09 school year were due by
January 5, 2008. However, the Financial Aid and Scholarship Committee will review late
applications for Financial Aid throughout the year. The primary allocation of awards
occurred in January. Additional funds may become available for late applicants depending
on the rate of acceptances by the students originally awarded financial aid.
Applicants for the 2009-10 school year starting August 2009
Financial Aid and Scholarship applications for the 2009-10 school year are available
online and from the Finance Office starting in November 2008 and are due by January 5, 2009.
Incoming Freshman families will be notified of their financial aid status for the 2009-10 school year by February 28, 2009. Applying for financial aid has no bearing on your acceptance to Ursuline High School. Please do not wait for acceptance from our school to apply for aid as it may be too late.
Annual financial aid application and the school’s endowment
All families receiving financial aid must submit a new financial aid application each
school year. The financial aid and need based scholarship awards for the 2008-09 school
year range from $500 to $6,000 per student evaluated by FAIR as needing financial aid.
The school’s endowment is only able to cover a portion of the total needs reported to us by FAIR each year. We therefore have to award our financial aid to the families with the greatest need. Our current Capital Campaign is increasing the size of our endowment so that the annual interest and dividends earned each year on the endowment’s investments will provide more financial aid to more families in the future.
