Prospective Students

Tuition & Tuition Assistance

By Monday March 9, 2009, families of accepted new students and all current Grade 9-11 students will be receiving a letter from our President/Principal, Julie Carver, announcing the tuition for the 2009-10 school year. With this letter is a packet including instructions for each student’s annual online registration, and information on awards made by the UHS Scholarship & Financial Committee on 2009-10 applications.

Tuition Assistance
The school offers Tuition Assistance in two forms:
Financial Aid: is awarded each year with no academic requirements.
Scholarships: a number of specific scholarships are awarded each year, some on
academic or service merit only and some with financial need criteria.

Please review the downloadable forms providing all Financial Aid and Scholarship details for the 2010-12 school year at: Scholarship and Financial Aid Applications

Late Applicants for the 2009-10 school year starting August 18, 2009
The Financial Aid and Scholarship Committee reviews applications for Financial Aid throughout the year.

Applicants for the 2010-11 school year starting August 2010
Financial Aid and Scholarship applications for the 2010-11 school year are available online and from the Finance Office starting in November 2009 and are due by January 11, 2010.

Annual financial aid application and the school’s endowment
All families requesting financial aid need to submit a new financial aid application each school year.

The school’s endowment is able to cover a significant portion of the total needs reported to us by FAIR each year.  The largest tuition assistance awards are given to families with the greatest need.
