Prospective Students

Spiritual Formation

Spiritual formation is valued and nourished at Ursuline. Students are supported and challenged in their own discovery of what it means to be blessed with Christ’s love. The school curriculum allows students to grow in their faith, recognize their gifts, and use these gifts in meaningful service. Course work in Religious Studies is required all four years. Other activities which nourish spiritual formation include:

1   Class retreats in the fall and the spring in grades 9 and 10.
2   Annual coed retreats off campus in the 11th and 12th grades.
3   Monthly masses or para-liturgical services.
4   Reconciliation services in advent and lent.
5   Celebration of the Eucharist in the Ursuline Chapel on Friday mornings.
6   A book of intentions and a prayer board just outside the chapel welcoming
students to write their concerns and intentions.
7   A prayer at the start of each school day.
